SPTC is organized by the South Texas Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (STS-AIChE). Attendance is open to all, but STS-AIChE members receive preferential pricing. 

Non-member pricing for SPTC includes a 2-year "local membership" in STS-AIChE. Member benefits include preferential pricing at STS-AIChE dinner meetings and other events. 

We also have a special rate for Unemployed STS Members. STS Members in good standing as of April 15, 2025, who are currently unemployed are eligible for this rate.
